H for HORSE-LOVERS - CRC was founded in 1995 to bring together all HORSELOVERS. Whether you ride Dressage, Event, or Pleasure ride - this Club is for you!. Basic Dressage should be the foundation for all riders and all disciplines - Hacking to Haute Ecole. Improving your Dressage promotes a better way forward for all horses. A for AIMS - The Club AIMS to inform, educate and demonstrate well-tested, proven and logical methods of basic Dressage, generally known as the Classical Principles of Equitation. R for REASON - The 'classical' way of training Dressage is based on REASON. There has to be a REASON why we do this or that in the handling and riding of horses, i.e. if you touch a horse here or there - a biomechanical response will result. Without REASON, there can be no solid base for training. Simply being told something is right, is not good enough and may corrupt the process of learning; | | | |
M for MEMBERSHIP - Currently there are over 900 MEMBERS scattered all over the world including well-known and highly respected Dressage trainers, teachers and authors. HOWEVER, the majority of the MEMBERSHIP are ordinary horse-owners or riders who simply wish to improve general technique and enjoy their horses more - whatever their discipline
| | O for ORGANISATION - CRC is a non-profit making ORGANISATION. It has been in Operation for 12 years and gained a high reputation worldwide. With a central Office based at its Founder's home in Scotland, it has brought countless people together and helped many realise their dreams and ambitions. The Club was designed to 'put something back' into the world of Dressage. All subscriptions go towards maintaining the Club's administration and to expanding its message to help more horses and more people on a global basis.

N for NETWORKING - The CRC Office acts as a hub to put like-minded people in contact with each other to promote Membership NETWORKING. This has created a self-help philosophy, an exchanging of ideas, news and events as well as encouraging a means to support the Classical Dressage ideology. Through its quarterly Newsletters (to be published on line from Mid September 2007 onwards), the various CRC Directories, Dressage Tests, Dressage Judging System, Diary Dates and Membership List divided into countries and regions makes for easy NETWORKING. This access to other Members has allowed the Club to remain as one very active, happy family over the past 12 years. Y for YOU & YOUR HORSE - So many of YOU over the Years have written in to say how being part of CRC has changed YOUR lives and that of YOUR Horse. YOU feel part of something. Something bigger, something that can make a difference. YOU feel YOUR ideas are valued and shared by others who feel the same. YOUR horse is happier through YOUR understanding and increasing knowledge. YOU are no longer under pressure to make things happen, YOU allow YOUR horse to develop at the right pace and YOU are much braver about resisting outside influences which YOU knew in YOUR heart were wrong. YOU feel confident YOU are on the right path.
