The Iberian Back – A Dressage Dilemma
To judge the Spanish and Portuguese horses fairly in competition, honest judges will admit it takes a trained eye. Whilst some may content themselves with mediocre marks and a hastily scribbled ‘tight in the back’, others will want to appraise themselves of the horse’s biomechanical makeup – asking questions of themselves and their advisors.
