Interpretation of classical: A logical approach to training of horses and riders with horse welfare as the top priority. A system of training which takes into account biomechanics of the horse’s movement and teaches riders how to move with the horse in balance and with softness. Correct training, with no shortcuts or gadgets, takes time for both horses and riders hence patience and commitment to continuous self-improvement is required from both classical riders and trainers.

Interpretation of "Classical": Classical is the training of the horse to make him lighter in the hand, more weight carried on the hind leg, and all taught with by a kind and mindful rider, who wants to get the best from their horse. The horse's body should be healthier and his mind should be at ease with the work.

Interpretation of "Classical": Classical riding means following the tried and tested methods of the Old Masters as passed down through the centuries: working with nature, never against it and always with kindness and gentle persuasion. This results in a harmonious partnership between man and horse. The ethos of Classical horsemanship incorporates love, humility, patience and empathy, which is very akin to my Christian faith.
